We work for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people
Founded in 1996, Stëmm vun der Strooss works for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people. This not-for-profit association, which is subsidised by the Ministry of Health, works in close collaboration with the Luxembourg Red Cross. Its registered office is in Luxembourg. In 2004, the City of Esch-sur-Alzette put premises at its disposal so that a second social restaurant could see the light. The Schweessdreps social reintegration workshop also settled in the mining capital. In the course of 2014, Stëmm vun der Strooss opened new branches in Hollerich, Schoenfels, Tétange and Belvaux. Homeless, unemployed, guaranteed minimum income recipients, ex-prisoners, asylum seekers, emigrants and people with mental disorders and / or addicted to drugs, alcohol and drugs constitute its clients.
